These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Geomed Pharmacy website (geomedpharm.com) and mobile app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
About us
The Service is operated by Geomed Pharmacy, a licensed Nigerian pharmacy at No. 3 Nsikak-Eduok Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. You can contact us on +234 911 344 3900 or at info@geomedpharm.com.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Wholesale status is granted only after our review and is not self-selected.
Using the Service
The Service lets you browse pharmacy products, place orders, and manage your account. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to buy medicines other than for legitimate, lawful purposes.
Prescriptions and regulatory compliance
Products marked “Rx” are prescription-only and are dispensed subject to a valid prescription and verification by our pharmacist, in line with NAFDAC and Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations. We may contact you to confirm details before dispensing, and we may decline to dispense where legal or clinical requirements are not met.
Orders, pricing, and availability
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, or cancel an order — for example due to stock, pricing errors, or verification issues — and where we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund the amount taken. Prices, product information, and availability may change, and occasional errors may occur; we reserve the right to correct them.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. By paying, you authorise the charge for your order. Your full card details are handled on Paystack’s secure page and are not stored by Geomed. Applicable delivery fees, where they apply, are shown before you pay.
Delivery and pickup
You can choose delivery to a saved address or pickup at the pharmacy. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery or collection. Please ensure the delivery details you provide are accurate.
Returns and refunds
For health and safety reasons, medicines and certain other products may not be returnable once dispensed, except where they are defective, incorrectly supplied, or as required by law. If there is a problem with your order, contact us promptly and we will put it right in accordance with applicable regulations.
Wholesale accounts
If you buy for a business, you may apply for a wholesale account from within the app. Approval is at our discretion following review of the credentials you submit, and unlocks wholesale pricing. We may suspend or revoke wholesale status if eligibility is not maintained.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, branding, and software, is owned by Geomed Pharmacy or its licensors and is protected by law. You may use it only as permitted by these Terms and may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Product information on the Service is provided for general purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always read the label and consult a pharmacist or doctor where appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and Geomed is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
